Lindsey is a seasoned risk mitigation specialist with a strong track record in the insurance industry, having built a successful broking business from the ground up.

She co-founded BRM after recognising a serious gap in the market: the lack of proactive risk management solutions for buildings. Lindsey’s vision was to create a service that helps policyholders avoid claims being repudiated due to non-compliance, escalating excesses, or properties becoming uninsurable.

At BRM, she is a passionate advocate for implementing structured, preventative frameworks that allow clients to stay ahead of risk — particularly through regular inspections and intelligent risk profiling.

Known for her straight-talking, down-to-earth nature, Lindsey brings clarity, humour, and heart to everything she does. A proud northerner, she’s deeply committed to her family, loves animals, and brings real energy to the BRM team.

Tom is a qualified carpenter and joiner with extensive hands-on experience across the construction industry, having worked on projects in France, New Zealand, and the UK. Since returning to the UK in 2010, he has led a successful construction company in Manchester as Managing Director.

At BRM, Tom brings his deep industry knowledge and practical expertise to the role of Director. He plays a key role in shaping and overseeing the delivery of BRM’s services, ensuring every inspection and process meets the highest professional standards.

Tom is driven by a strong belief: if a building is insured, it should also be protected. His focus is on making sure that every service BRM delivers supports this principle — helping clients safeguard their assets and avoid unexpected insurance issues through proactive, thorough risk management.
