External Thermographic Assessment

Traditionally, thermal imagery uses handheld thermal imaging cameras for a variety of different uses, and covering large areas is accordingly costly and time-consuming. It can also be very difficult to obtain thermal imagery from a high perspective (such as a flat roof) with traditional methods, either requiring the hire of expensive mobile platforms or using conveniently placed taller buildings next door. With this in mind we incorporate the latest drone technology to assist in our exterior surveys.

Drone Assessment

We believe drone surveys are the future of visual inspection. BRM Solutions understand the many risks and limitations of conventional aerial inspections and roof inspections. That’s why BRM Solutions employ the use of high performance, industrial specification drones to undertake these challenging assessments in the most efficient and economical way possible.
UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles – otherwise known as drones) offer significant cost savings when compared with traditional methods of access when undertaking building risk assessments on all types of commercial, industrial, and residential properties. This is largely due to the reduced time needed on site, (typically the site element of a survey can be completed in a matter of hours rather than days) and the lack of requirement for hire of powered access or scaffolding (which can add significant cost).
Some areas of roofs may be completely inaccessible by traditional access methods. Fragile roofs and ageing asbestos containing materials present a serious health and safety risk. By utilising a drone survey, detailed photographic data can be obtained of the roof and high-level elements of a building without the risk of fall or disturbing and releasing asbestos.
BRM Solutions are a CAA-approved company holding valid Permission for Commercial Operation. Our pilots are all qualified to the industry standard, subject to yearly assessment and ongoing training.

Plumbing Check

Our plumbing check is one of the most popular services owe offer. This service is primarily aimed at blocks of apartments where potential issues may be left undiscovered and later result in costly repairs that may not be valid on a buildings insurance policy due to maintenance clauses.
BRM inspections come complete with a report, documenting photographs of inspected areas, observations and subsequent recommendations to any work that may be required.

Working in partnership with a specialist fire detection and safety company, we can offer a cost-effective solution to current fire detection systems currently in use – such as the waking watch.
We can offer a permanent or temporary wireless interlinked fire detection and fire risk management service with real time notification and monitoring. These units are programmed to only recognise the units within its designated zone and are wirelessly connected to a gateway with its own built in GSM sim and anti-tamper batteries.
